Asset Overview
Baseball signed by hall of fame pitcher Phil Niekro. 3D Scanned with the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner in about 5 minutes. Data processing took about 30 minutes.
After scanning, about 100 photos were taken, imported into Artec Studio, and wrapped around the final model, replacing the color from the Artec Space Spider with photo color data. This was not done using professional light box equipment, but instead indoor overhead office lighting.
