Bernhard - The Carved Bird

A wood carving by [ood (link to facebook)](https://m.facebook.com/vincentood/). Scan done with Metashape Pro: - 4 separate chunks, each 30 images: top, middle, bottom and underside of model - Using 4 markers (metashape pro only). Important here is to have lots of green/white markers. - Merged the chunks into a single chunk. - Generated dense cloud using the merged chunk. As opposed to [this model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/plastic-snowman-3d-printing-3bbfe380ab3d4aa980139ed98c9fc17d), did not merge dense clouds. - Merge dense cloud was space-filtered (Metashape pro only). This used a filter value of 0.015 - this reduced the dense cloud down to 200k points. - Generated mesh from dense cloud, no smoothing necessary. About the scan: - Model size: 21x18x6 cms - Focal length - 24mm - 127 images, 4 angles @ ca. 30 images - 6000x4000 - Light source: LED right light
