Asset Overview
These were high end homes in Bodie in 1900 on Park Street. The weathered wood and the gas can tin roofs and siding tells of how much fuel they had to use. It was very cold and windy here, and there was no firewood for miles. These were fancy homes with electricity, but no indoor plumbing. The home on the far left was owned by Charlie Donnely, the Seiler House, then the adjoined Camereron and Bell house. https://www.bodie.com/reprints/mining-town-curse-lives-on-in-bodie/ Bodie was not a nice place to raise your kids.
