Asset Overview

This bone pin from the Shell Island site was recovered by Rollins College students in the 1970s. It was crafted from a deer metapodial that was burned, sharpened, and polished. It is permenantly curated at the Rollins College Archaeology Lab and is currently on display at the Orange County Regional History Center. Model by Ellie Minette.
