This gravestone is from the ancient Nether Kirkyard below the cliffs at St Cyrus and is the resting place of Alexander Webster and his wife and children. Mr Webster was a renowned bone-setter and the gravestone shows him setting the arm of another person while his wife and children (or others awaiting treatment) look on. Alexander Webster died in 1759.
