Briseis and Achilles (1865), Marble, 114 x 239 cm. Executed by Georg Christian Freund under the supervision of H.W. Bissen, after the original plaster model 1803, inv.no. A490. Thorvaldsen Museum (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made of 90 pictures with MetaShape from Agisoft.
The relief depicts an episode from the beginning of the antique, Greek poet Homer’s grand poem the Iliad, which tells the story of the Greek ten-year siege of Troy.
