Asset Overview

The panel is located in rough grazing on the on the steeply sloping NW edge of a rocky knoll, situated on the SW facing slope of a large field which contains numerous other carved rocks and stones (Glenvoidean 1-18). It is situated about 40m N of Glenvoidean 14 and 120m NNW of Glenvoidean Chambered Cairn (Canmore 39875). A small gully lies about 50m to the NW. The knoll lies at the NE edge of a small cleared area defined by several clearance cairns, including one adjacent to Glenvoidean 13, suggesting that the stone may have been moved to its present position at some time in the past.
