Asset Overview
Centennial Walking Stick or cane was presented to Benjamin Harrison since he is the centennial president 100 years after George Washington. Made by unknown artist, hand carved images (head and shoulders in relief) of all the Presidents from Washington to Benj. Harrison with name below each. They are on both sides of the cane coming down to Harrison. Wood is white pine and stained. The carved handle is an animal head design. Three of the president's names are misspelled: Madison, Hayes, and Arthur.
