Cerro de las Cabezas is an Iberian Iron Age site located 8 km south of the current city of Valdepeñas , in the province of Ciudad Real, Spain. It was inhabited from the 6th century to the 2nd BC.
The data for this project were collected in 2017 as a joint effort between the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), Baraka Arqueólogos SL and CVAST at the University of South Florida (USF) under the legal permission of Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha (Expte. 16.0834-P1. Sistema de documentación 3D del Patrimonio Cultural de Castilla-La Mancha). The project is now managed by UCLM and Global Digital Heritage (GDH). UCLM project co-Director Dr. Víctor Manuel López-Menchero Bendicho provided the data for this model.
