Asset Overview
XVI century old building. First inside-outside scan of a building.
The Lords of Montlivault held a Court of Justice in this small building, hence the name of the street. They worked under the committee and bailliff in nearby Blois and had the right to administer "low justice" (matters related to the rights of the lord); "middle justice" (brawls, injury, and theft not punishable by death); and "hight justice" (any matter leading up to the capital punishment). trials were held in this chamber located at the edge of the Château's park, wuth an entrance on the outside and another private entry for the Lord on the inside.
