Asset Overview
Small fragment of a clay idol in the form of a feline from the archaeological works carried out in the twentieth century in the megalithic monument of Anta Grande do Zambujeiro. The fragment only allows observing the head, neck and a small part of the body. This piece is dated between the Middle and Final Neolithic (4000-3000 BC). It is currently preserved in the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum (Évora, Portugal). Catalog No. ME3825.
