Asset Overview
Rock art, Ballybane West Townland, Co. Cork, Ireland. SMR Ref: CO131-040. Location 51.591968, -9.416782. Known locally as 'Rock of the Rings'. Located immediately adjacent to a local road and some 70m SE of the large panel at Ballybane West-02. This model is not scaled and originally served as a test case - it is scheduled to be recaptured in more favourable conditions. The model opens aligned approx. N/S (top/bottom). Rock-art at Derreennaclogh is some 2.1km to NW.
