Asset Overview

Colington Tunnel is an abandoned railway tunnel in Edinburgh, Scotland, built in the 1800s and now transformed into the biggest mural of its kind in Scotland. 140 meters long and 5.4 meters high, one side of the tunnel features the words from the Robert Loius Stevenson poem "From A Railway Carriage", the story of a child's first rail journey. The rest of the wall space on both sides is used to illustrate it, with beautiful images reflecting local history.
