Asset Overview
A 3D model of the female uterus as seen as a coronal cross-section, sculpted, textured and painted in ZBrush.
This is a piece from my dissertation, submitted for a masters in medical art. The basis of my research was to make endometriosis - which is considered an invisible illness -visible by depicting the various subtypes associated with the condition.
The uterus was used as it is synonymous with gynaecological disorders however there is scope for creating many more parts of the pelvis and abdomen in future.
