Asset Overview

The helmet belonged to Wilson (Jake) Crawford. He had 30 years of service. Many of those years was at Station 32 in Broad Ripple (which is now on the historic register). He went up through the ranks to Captain. He was chauffeur for Jesse (Boots) Hutsell (Division Fire Chief) around 1970 and then spent his remaining years at Station 14, near the Children’s Museum. He passed away suddenly the year he was to retire (Sept. 1979). This item was 3D scanned using a Creaform Go Scan 50.
