Asset Overview
Drumgath graveyard is circular,67.5m N-S x 69m E-W & contains numerous headstones & gravemarkers, some dating to C19th. To the N end of the graveyard is a cairn of stones heaped onto a rectangular structure, possibly a church, 7.7m x 5.1m wide. 4 lines of gravemarkers radiate from it, 1 at N, 3 at S. At SE, there is a possible mortuary house - an upstanding structure open at both ends, with a roughstone arch.
Three early medieval carved stones are locationed to the east of the graveyard. They appear to have copic style crosses carved on their faces.
