Asset Overview

Ok, ok, so it isn't actually a dragon's egg, but if there *were* dragons and they *did* lay eggs, this is what I imagine one would look like! This natural geological feature is called a Septarian Nodule and exactly how it was created is still something of a mystery. You can follow the annotations by number to find out what we do know about how this amazing rock was formed. Come see it for real at the Discovery Centre, Leeds Museums & Galleries, UK. Object number: LEEDM.B.TN5412 Created by Izzy Bartley using 90 photographs, Canon EOS 1100D and Agisoft Photoscan Standard Edition
