Asset Overview

Early Dynastic statue found at Hierakonpolis Temple enclosure in 1897 by James Quibell and Frederick Green. The statue is one of a pair of statues, the second of which was in very poor condition and did not survive excavation. Carved from limestone, the statue is in poor condition today. It is currently in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo (JE 32159). Created from 125 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.6.1. The back of the statue was inaccesible and has been in-filled using Blender 3D 2.8. Photographed in October 2019.
