Ehrengrab Gustav von Freyenwald

Grave of honor for the k. u. k. General Gustav Jonak Edler von Freyenwald (1841-1908) at the Vienna Central Cemetery. I chose this model to participate in the contest Nature and Civilization, because the burial generally has this theme. In this grave you can also see very well how different stones, worked and unworked, merge into an overall picture. This man-made art is over the years again taken by nature, well seen in the ivy that climbs its way towards the sky. Another indication of the clash of nature with civilization is the autumn, which covers the entire surface with leaves.
