This [Etruscan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etruscan_civilization) bucket, a so-called "Ciste a cordoni" has probably been used to serve beer or mead here in Scandinavia. Originally in Italy it was probably wine in the bucket. It is made from hammered copper alloy and has a rich decor. The bucket is part of one the most fascinating [treasures](https://bit.ly/3su35wG) in the collections of the Swedish History Museum and was found in [Hassle](https://bit.ly/3JZps32<), Glanshammar parish in northeastern Närke. Sometime around 500 BC a large cauldron from the eastern Mediterranean, two buckets from northern Italy and two swords and 12 horse ornaments from Central Europe was sacrificed in a fen.
