Fallsway Fountain, Baltimore

This is a portion of the Fallsway Fountain was created by Hans K. Schuler in collaboration with architect Theodore Wells Pietsch. Schuler was a German-born American sculptor and monument maker. Schuler was known as "Baltimore's Monument Maker" after creating many of the city's monuments on streets and parks. For over a quarter of a century he served as president of the Maryland Institute College of Art. The symbol of the [Battle Monument](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/battle-monument-71bf8c822af04e2a858d8356a4f113cd) can be seen on the woman's sheild.
