**Feature 82, north half excavated** Location: Wall site (31Or11), Orange County, North Carolina. Period: Late Woodland (AD 1500-1600). Dimensions: length, 5.22 ft (1.59 m); width, 1.52 ft (0.46 m); depth, 1.28 ft (0.39 m). Notes: Feature 82, a large refuse-filled pit in the 380-400R640-650 block, with the north half excavated. The west edge was intruded by a trench dug in 1941. This archaeological feature was excavated by the Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 2015.
