In het centrum van Rotterdam hebben archeologen diep onder de grond de resten gevonden van de pre-stedelijke nederzetting Rotta uit de 10e en 11e eeuw. *Impression of a cross enamel fibula, found at the excavation in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, dating from the early 11th century AD. Deep underground in the centre of Rotterdam, archaeologists have found the remains of the settlement of Rotta from the 10th and 11th centuries.
