Asset Overview

This bronze miniature was modelled on the "Five Rams Statue" (五羊石像) by Yin Jichang (尹积昌), Chen Benzong (陈本宗) and Kong Fanwei (孔繁纬).
The original is an 11 m high statue made of granite and stands on the Yuexiu Hill (粤秀山) in Guangzhou, China. [[1]](https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%BA%94%E7%BE%8A%E7%9F%B3%E5%83%8F)
There is a legend about the statue, which says that more than 2000 years ago 5 immortals on rams with sheaves of rice in their mouths came to the city while the inhabitants suffered from a famine. The immortals took the sheaves of rice from the mouths of the rams and gave them to the inhabitants of the city with a blessing. Since then, Guangzhou has been a rich and populous city. The miniature measures 80 x 70 x 115 cm and stands in the "Garden of Heavenly Peace" in the Bethmannpark in Frankfurt am Main. 458 photos were taken with an iPhone 11. The model was created in RealityCapture and edited in Blender.
