Asset Overview
Extensive multi-period archaeology site. Roman period native settlements and field system, hut circle, bloomeries, lead smelting site and charcoal pits immediately south east of East Force Garth, which is ESE of Cow Green reservoit in upper Teesdale, County Durham. To the SW of the site is a large Force Garth stone quarry.
