Asset Overview

3D scan of the fossil lungfish *Tellerodus sturii*. This fossil was found in the Polzberggraben mining tunnels, Lower Austria, in 1886. These kinds of fish are abundant since the Triassic. The original lungfish belongs to the Geological Survey of Austria. In Hall 8 of the NHM Vienna you can have a look at a cast of this unique lungfish fossil.
