Romanesque representation of God the Father on a throne at the ends of the village of Schöngrabern. The panels refer to the Stone Bible, which is located on the apse of the parish church there.
God the Father is seated on a throne decorated with small columns and capitals. He is depicted with short beard and head hair and wears a long sleeved outer garment. Two overcoats complete the clothing: a longer one, which is laid in wide, flat folds and almost reaches the end of the upper robe, and a shorter one, which reaches the lap. The bare feet rest on small stools. The right hand with outstretched thumb, index finger and middle finger and curved ring finger and little finger is raised in blessing. The left hand holds a scepter, the upper end of which bears a lily-like crown formed of three spheres.
