Asset Overview

Celadon ceramicware from a tomb in the southeast coast of China. Yue kiln. Dated Eastern Han to Three Kingdoms (1st-3rd century CE). Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Gushan Branch. Four smaller "tubes" (jars) surround the main jar, which is shaped like a gourd. Decorated with hybrid (half-human half-mouse?) figures, a turtle, and birds.
