Asset Overview

Limestone gravestone with an inscription and relief of the "Totenmahl" scene. The stone is for the veteran Valens, Bititralis' son, who served in the ala I Thracum. The stone was made by his heir. The relief shows two slaves on either side of Valens. National Museum of Antiquities, Leiden, the Netherlands; Reg.
