There is a new face in Bracknell which is catching the eye of everyone who passes through Lily Hill Park.
One of the paths that runs through the 23-hectare park in Bullbrook is now home to a lifelike wooden sculpture called Green Man.
Artist Mic Chambers, who works for Greenspace Designs, created the intriguing carving using the remnants of a dead oak tree.
Bracknell Forest Council Councillor Iain McCracken, executive member for culture, corporate services and public protection said: "This impressive wooden sculpture, created by artist Mic Chambers, is a new permanent feature at Lily Hill Park and is perfectly located to help welcome people to the beautiful grounds.
“Mic has transformed this dead oak tree into an incredible piece of art for visitors to admire for many years to come.
"His design, Green Man, was inspired by the legends of nature personified and the innate, intricate carvings really do bring it to life."
