Hagg Farm is a rich archaeological landscape from prehistory all the way to 19C leadmining. swaag.org have been excavating an intriguing Romano-British 'homestead' situated halfway up the daleside. The next community excavation starts July 5th to July 19th. Details on the website, open to all.
