That is lowpoly pixel perfect replica of German style hand whellock mortar that was used in early XVI. They were used in battles and later for signal firecrackers and firework exhibitions.
Model and textures was made in Blender. UV unwraping was made in RizomUV VS. Took me about 20 hours.
Goal was to see if i understand correctly how to make pixel perfect models. Most edged are multiple of 0.1 cm so most faces contain integer amount of pixels in it. UV shells snapped to pixels where possible to avoid pixel separation.
I would like to paint textures in Substance Painter but there are filtering that blures textures and i havent found a way to disable it. I even tried to rewrite shaders with my programmer friend. So i had to paint metal and roughness textures by hand over the color texture.
252 faces
Base color, roughness, metal maps 64x64
