Asset Overview
Made with 3df zephyr lite, using 191 photos.
This hardstone artifact is one of the few in my collection that are not made from flint.
I personally have never encountered any artifact like this one; the closest thing I've seen was a war-club in a identification catalogue. However, all of my artifact-hunting colleagues agree that it is definitely man-made. Their opinions on the nature of the artifact vary, but most would classify it as a club or hammerstone of some sort.
The short end shows the most wear, although there is some along the long edge as well. Unfortunately, this didn't show up well in the scan, due to my terrible lighting skills =/
It is about 5 7/8", or 15 cm in length.
collection ID: Hch.
