A late Neolithic hengiform monument excavated in South Wales.
The hengiform contained a number of pits or postholes within the internal area of the monument; one of which contained a very fine denticulated flint blade and another contained late Neolithic pottery.
The feature in the top left of the model was a late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age pit that truncated the hengiform and contained large amounts of charred plant remains including burnt hazelnut shells.
The linear feature that bisects the hengiform was a later undated ditch.
This monument was located in an area with other Bronze Age ceremonial monuments.
