Asset Overview
Figure of Saint Nepomuk in the Neustiftpark in Laa an der Thaya. The statue was donated in 1731 by the mayor, judge and councillor of the town of Laa, Joseph Neckham. It was created by the sculptor Michael Myrhofer. The saint is depicted in a robe with a rich lace hem, a shoulder coat and a biretta as headgear. He holds the cross in his left hand. On the base there are cartouches with baroque ribbon work. On the front the inscription of a renovation in 1910.
