***Homo erectus*** Location: Koobi Fora, East Turkana, Kenya. Age: about 1.89 million years ago. Material: epoxy resin cast. Dimensions: length, 388 mm; width, 87 mm; height, 57 mm. Notes: RLA catalog no. 2501.1rp71 (cast). Left femur. Designated KNM ER 1481. Discovered in 1972 by John M. Harris. Cast made by the Wenner-Gren Foundation Casting Program at the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania.
