**Calamites sp.**
Curved specimen of the Carboniferous horsetail Calamites. These giant horsetails are often preserved in 3d form so make good objects to model.
Age: approx 300 million years.
Length 15cm Width 8cm Depth 2cm.
Imaged using a canon 5DS R and Stackshot 3x with turntable to provide around 150 images which were then processed using agisoft photoscan at high levels.
