OS LOCATION: NO 66529 60528.
A cup-marked block of whinstone 0.8m high by 0.4m broad. There are 13 shallow cups about 5cm in diameter on curved surface of the stone, and 4 on the flat south side. The stone, which lies among in woodland, is not in situ, as it was apparently removed from the ruins of a small croft on the site and may have once been part of adjacent Fordhouse Barrow . Now about 1 m on wood side of fenceline. No trace of croft visible.
