Asset Overview

There is not much information on this stone cross slab. However, at some point it was moved from an original context and placed on a concrete slab. The date is also unknown, but it is generally accepted as a medieval cross slab. Irish monks lived on the island between the sixth and 10th century producing purple dye. The stone may be from this period. View in Matcap to view the designs in greater detail.
