Iron Flotilla

Boat model by Carol Todaro created for 1995 exhibitions “Boat Images” and “Becalmed in Miami” hosted at Miami Dade County Main Branch Library. Old fashioned clothes iron, rusted with small spinning rudders on either side of handle, bottom of iron reads "This Boat Won't Float', metal base, rusted layered piece with map glued in, scroll/rolled up map wedged into layers. Dimensions: 8" x 7" x 5" Currently located in the Permanent Art Collection of the Miami-Dade Public Library System.
