Pixie houses are decorated tree stumps, made to look as if a fairy (usually called Pixie) lives there. They appear in various places and the creator is usually anonymous.
This particular Pixie house has been decorated with protest signs (mostly) against Islington Council closing public roads to vehicle traffic.
