Isolation Creation VIII: Education

Part of my creativity challenge during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today's model symbolizes my present and future. I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Archaeology from Leiden University, and this pocket knife was a gift from the faculty at the ceremony. I was really lucky to have been able to attend my ceremony, and have my family fly over to attend as well. Although the coronavirus was a very real threat in many parts of the world already, it had yet to enter our minds how much would change in the weeks following. I am very uncertain about what the future is going to bring, considering the job market will be poor when this is all over, and tbh I didn't choose the most employable career! Nevertheless, I'm still thankful for all the opportunities I have had so far and am staying optimistic.
