Jizo-bosatsu at Kodaira City

Jizo-bosatsu is a kind of Buddhist image. This statue is enshrined at Kodaira city, Tokyo. Commonly, Jizo-bosatsu is believed to prevent some evil matter from children. Though many of Jizo-bosatsu is a standing statue, however this statue is sitteing statue which rises one knee.
