Asset Overview
Weinheber Monument in Vienna's Schillerpark. The bust was made by Josef Bock in 1940. It was erected on a granite base in 1975.
Josef Weinheber (1892-1945) was a poet and storyteller. His works have always ploarised supporters and opponents and are still the subject of aesthetic, ideological and political controversy today. This is also shown by the repeated damage to the monument.
