3D scan of a large foraminifera, *Jullienella foetida* from the backstage collection of the Geology and Paleontology Department. This specimen was picked from 80 m water depth near Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in 1960. *Jullienella foetida* is a foraminifer, i.e. a single-celled protist that forms a hard test by collecting tiny sediment particles and agglutinating them on an organic lining that surrounds its cell. This specimen is about 4 cm big.
