Khal’s Amulet of Lathander/Amaunator

Khal was born blind. When he was young he rescued a beggar who granted him a wish as a reward. Khal asked for sight. The beggar gave him an amulet saying if Khal wore it he would see the world as he (the beggar) does. Little did Khal know, that beggar was Lathander in disguise. Khal soon came to realize that while the Amulet did grant him sight, it also came with more than a few strings attached. Not only did Khal costantly hear whispers and voices from the Amulet while wearing it, it would also seem to glow red hot or even burst into flame any time Khal did something immoral or unlawful. Khal, a tiefling of certainly mixed morality, saw this amulet as more a curse than a blessing. Yet no matter what he does he cant get rid of it nor disattune. It always reappears on his person serveral hours later. The front of the amulet features the sun symbol of Amaunator, while the back has a hidden mark of the Arch Demon Zariel (for unknown reasons). The text is a prayer in the Mulhorandi language.
