Kramer Projectile Point

Kramer Projectile Point (Catalog # 2004.48.205), a part of the Michigan State University Museum's Archaeology Teaching Collection. This tool, made out of chert, is associated with the Early Woodland Period of the Eastern Woodlands in North America and is primarily found in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Valley regions of the Midwest. These projectile points were used as spear or dart points, as well as multi-purpose cutting tools.
