Asset Overview

This ring was found by CAP during some excavations in 2015 and dates to the late 19th century. The ring is around a size 7.5 and has since lost the gem although the setting for it it easily seen. Women were first able to enroll at MSU (then called State Agricultural College) in 1870. This ring dates to sometime around or after that, making it one of the earliest artifacts found by CAP that directly ties females to the university. This is espcially meaningful since women's movement around campus was restricted. This model was created by Jack A. Biggs using Agisoft Metashape.
