Quick drone scan during 400km road trip. **Ströbo mound (**Ströbo gravhög) is a burial mound in the parish of Köping. The mound is 40 meters in diameter and about 10 meters high, but may have been larger when it was built. It is one of the largest mounds in the country and of the same type as Anundshögen outside Västerås and Uppsala mounds . Artifacts found In the mound: a bronze buckle, fire steel, glass beads and earthenware fragments from the Late Iron Age. It is believed that the mound was built during this time. During the 19th century, large parts of the surrounding ridge were excavated, but the mound was saved, Previously, for a period of 150 years, Valborg fires were built on the top of the mound. A popular legend, earliest recorded in 1667, says that when its foggy an oak cabin appears on top of the mound, guarded by a dragon.
