A quartzite Lehigh/Koens-Crispin projectile point recovered during the 1943 excavation of a precontact period site along the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Maryland by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland. This point dates to the Late Archaic Period ranging from 900 and 3700 BP (2450-2100 BC). The Lehigh/Koens-Crispin point is large and well-made, with a broad ovate to lanceolate blade. It has a distinctly short, contracting stem.
